Truly a melting pot of cultures and approaches to cycling, North American bicycle culture has had strong influences from other countries as well as innovative approaches by builders. The craft continues to evolve today as can be seen in the many current “Keepers of the Flame” craftsmen.

Peter Johnson was a true Renaissance man. He was a top racer in the 1970s, he made bicycles and frames for himself and others. He also was a highly skilled & in-demand machinist today with a wide variety of projects, but he retaineds a love for bicycling.
