“OTB” meant Only The Best, a special limited line of bicycles imported by Charlie Hamburger’s bicycle shop of the same name in Boston. These were very much French style bicycles, primarily with a touring end use in mind. Various suppliers were used, reputed some of the elite Constructeurs of France.

Sheldon Brown’s OTB Bicycle

LAM (CLB) brakes, Simplex chain actuated rear, lever actuated front derailleurs, Simplex steel cranks with Huret chain rings, Campagnolo hubs, the original saddle shown separately (Tenax brand)
