“Since my return to Woodrup’s all my frames will have KS stamped underneath the frame number on the
BB shell on the non drive side. Steve (Woodrup) always stamped his frames on the chain wheel side. …
on very early Woodrup’s the number seems to be stamped somewhere in the centre of the BB shell.”
From Tony Woodrup (3rd generation of Woodrups to run the business) via Terry Wassall “…frames sold to America had a different system for numbering where the first 2 digits are the year. So, for instance, 83083 would be a 1983 built frame.”
