“I have attached a picture of the bike as it ridden on the day. You might notice the adapted Super Record rear mech which has a copy of the “rally” jockey cage which I imported for the States. This was needed to accommodate a 14-32 Regina block so that I could haul myself up those Derbyshire hills. The tyres are the new Clement 700 27C which were fabulous on the very mixed surfaces.”
