Paratella

Paratella

“Corrado Paratella was a frame builder from Torino, Italia whose work belongs to the tradition of the finest Italian craftsmanship. From the the late 1940s until the early 1980s, he custom built high-end racing bicycles. My old friends from Torino have told me that his workshop was a meeting point for local cyclists along with the shop of Beltramo. The riders were keen to see and touch first-hand the newest creations of this builder of very fine frames.

Despite the fact that his name is unknown by most outside of Torino, Paratella frames are renowned and highly sought after as he only produced 20 to 40 frames a year. Total production is estimated to be 600 to 800 frames. He also built racing frames for the IBAC team.”
