SCHULZ, Jacques

Jaques Schulz was an inventive builder who made nearly every part of his bikes, including his indexed “Funiculo” derailleur, unique and apparently very effective brakes, custom pedals, etc. Because of all the labor intensive custom parts the bikes were quite expensive and supposedly few were made.

This 1937 bicycles is as seen at auction from the Embacher Collection. Its "Funiculo" gear system could handle sprockets up to 40 teeth.
