Crank Sets

“Eugene Christophe was a French cyclist born in 1885 in Paris – In the 1913 Tour De France he had an accident snapping his front forks, so he walked for 9 miles to a blacksmiths and repaired the forks himself, continuing the race. In 1919 he became the first racer to ever wear the Yellow Jersey. In 1925 he sold his idea for the toe clip to Poutrait-Morin (now Zefal)”
